When we are closed
If you have an urgent health need while the practice is closed, please call 111 (all calls to 111 will be recorded).
In a genuine emergency you should call 999. Chest pains and/or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
If you have a Mental Health or Adult Social Care issue, please call 08001380990. This service is available 24/7.
NHS 111
The old out of hours and NHS Direct numbers are no longer in use and for any out of hours emergencies you must now phone the NHS 111 service. This is a new telephone service for people in Yorkshire and the Humber to call if they need medical help fast, but are not in a life-threatening situation.
In an emergency, call 999 – chest pain and/or shortness of breath constitutes an emergency.
For more information on 111 visit www.nhs.uk/111

Complaints
If you have a concern or complaint, please contact the Surgery and ask to speak to the Practice Manager or Assistant Practice Manager. Most issues can be resolved by communicating with the Practice management team who will listen to your concerns and try their best to address them.
If you feel it may be better to make a written complaint you can write to us about it. If you are complaining on behalf of someone you MUST also send a signed and dated consent letter which clearly indicates that the patient authorises you to handle the complaint on their behalf (you can download copies of the Practice complaints procedures, a complaints leaflet and a consent form from this page).
If you are not happy with the Practice response to your complaint you can contact NHS England or the Health Service Ombudsman as a last resort.
